Hey,
It's been a while since my last journal entry, so I'll try to sum it up quickly without boring you all, Supanova at the gold coast has come and gone. I got to be in the artist's alley next to the Phatsville guys this time. Zenyaku #1 was launched. And it was the same attitude from the last Supanova. The main public doesn't give a shit unless it's Marvel, DC or Adventure Time. What really pissed me off was I didn't sell any copies of my buddy's Turbo Supermax #2 at all. I wasn't able to finish colouring my Adventure Time fanart, (Actually, I'd had to start all over again), but I did bring the original and people were looking at it and loving it. They were even asking to buy it as it is. Sorry, but I don't sell originals. Well, it'll be a definite that I'll have it coloured and have prints up for it next Supanova (which is Brisbane in November) plus have Zenayku #2 as well, and other prints as well (If I'm going to get some recognition and to make some money back, I've gotta bend over and do some fan-prints and print stuff). I was able to meet which was a surprise, plus as well (Thanks for the Bioshock Infinite print!). Plus swapping other artist's comics at the end of the weekend made the entire weekend (And the drink-up at Jupiter's Casino).
So back to reality, I've just been working. I've been asked to make a cover for the next BLACKGUARD so that'll be my main priority at the moment, when I do get some time off work of course. And in case if you're wondering why no art lately, I've been working around my house with gardening and such. It was looking like a weed jungle.
